When Donald Leon Farrow was working at Phillip Morris, he was asked to serve on the 15-member Grant Making Board. He was offered this honor on two separate occasions, which is remarkable.
Many Phillip Morris employees apply for the chance to serve on the board. In fact, over 300 employees applied for one seat on the board. But Donald Leon Farrow was known as a skillful leader, and the executives thought he would bring his unique vision to the board and help the company do great things in the community. Donald Leon Farrow was happy to serve.
